Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a wife and mother, and I understand firsthand the beauty and complexity of balancing family, career, and personal well-being. This perspective deepens the empathy and practicality I bring into the therapy space. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your experiences, navigate life transitions, and build sustainable skills for growth, resilience, and self-trust.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic, trauma-informed approach to therapy, thoughtfully integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, polyvagal-informed practices, and EMDR. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I intentionally select strategies based on your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen nervous system regulation, and build practical tools that support meaningful, sustainable change. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered as we tailor the work to what truly resonates with you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, your current stressors, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. We’ll also talk about your goals and begin identifying small, meaningful steps forward. My intention is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about what working together will look like.
