Great to meet you!

In 2014, I was awarded the Mental Health Training Program stipend from the state of CA. A year later, I graduated with a Masters of Social Work. In my free time, I enjoy playing with the cat, practicing and teaching yoga, cooking, music and being in nature.

I have counseled with group private practices, the Marine Corps, Family Health Centers of San Diego, CalWORKs, and Survivors of Torture International.

Currently, I work with a broad range of conditions treating people ages 13-60yo.

My approach to therapy

My aim is to really get my clients; I balance leading and following to start where clients are on their wellness journey. With a clinical practice rooted in mindfulness and relational science, I offer a structured place to process and heal. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma- Informed Interventions and Family Systems models. Approaches include Interpersonal and Attachment based Psychodynamic care. Let’s learn more together.

What you can expect from me

Possible benefits include symptom reduction, solutions to specific problems, increased well-being, improved relationships, increased self knowledge, a sense of pride, increased self-esteem, freedom from destructive patterns of behavior, and increased overall enjoyment of life. Maybe someone begins to play a bigger role in their life. Or maybe someone begins to rediscover their voice.
