Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jasmine and I am glad that you are here. Choosing to prioritize your well-being can be difficult and is something to celebrate. I am a licensed mental health counselor with six years of experience in supporting adults, teens, kids, and families. I specialize in helping women process stress, trauma, and own their authentic expression. I am rooted in decolonization and love incorporating meditation, yoga, astrology, cycle syncing, and reiki into therapy with women.

My approach to therapy

It is my intention to provide safety for your authentic expression through our cocreated therapeutic relationship. My approach to therapy is to build somatic resilience (the body's ability to recover from stress, trauma, and overwhelming experiences by regulating the nervous system) to identify patterns in the mind and increase intuition. I help clients develop a compassionate lens to identify, untangle, and integrate certain parts of themselves that carry out unhelpful beliefs which once served a purpose.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect me to ask you questions that help me understand your current experience, desired experience, and your past. We will work together to name goals, one long-term (6 months) and one short term (1 month), which we will evaluate over time. Throughout our work, we will dive into your history and context and utilize tools such as guided meditation, art, behavioral activation, trauma processing, integrative somatic parts work, and cognitive restructuring to help you reach your goals.
