Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming but that doesn’t mean that we have to go through it alone. Going to therapy can help us understand ourselves and our circumstances in a way that helps us make necessary improvements to our life. Therapy can involve addressing the past, processing today’s events, or setting goals for the future. No matter what your individual needs are I am excited to work alongside you to help you become your best self!

I am a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor. I have a background in substance use treatment and clients with court and criminal involvement. Additionally, my Master’s degree is in counseling with a specialty in marriage and family therapy. So, I feel comfortable working with systems theories as well.

If you are here then you’ve already made the first step in creating a change for yourself. Congratulations! Please allow me to take the next steps with you.

My approach to therapy

I often use an integrative approach to treatment. That means that I adapt interventions from different theories and treatment modalities based on the clients needs and presenting problems. However, I most often utilize CBT, DBT Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Person Centered approaches.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help my clients to breathe a little easier while dealing with minor challenges or big obstacles that are preventing them from living life as their best self. Frequent problems that my typical clients face are anxiety, depression, relationship stressors, boundary/ communication issues and work life balance. Allow me to walk with you on your journey and offer a new perspective.
