Great to meet you!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jasmine Porter, LCSW. I firmly believe that every individual possesses a unique gift within them. I understand that many people tend to focus on the symptoms of trauma rather than addressing the deeper causes, and I recognize how challenging that can be. For me, healing is a personal choice that invites us to embrace holistic practices and seek meaningful connections with others. I believe that this collaborative approach can truly support one’s journey towards healing.

With this in mind, I aim to foster an environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their emotions and experiences in a safe space. I encourage my clients to share their stories, as this can lead to profound insights and promote growth. By working together, we can uncover the strengths that lie within and facilitate a transformative process that not only addresses trauma but also celebrates resilience.

I look forward to supporting each of you as we navigate this path towards healing together.

Warm regards,

Jasmine

My approach to therapy

I am a collaborative therapist who blends exploration, education, and solution-focused techniques to create an effective treatment process. When working with children and families, I embrace a creative approach to therapy, integrating games, art, and various activities to engage them fully. My methods are tailored to the unique needs, interests, and strengths of each client, ensuring a personalized experience.

Once I establish rapport, I gently challenge each client at their own pace, fostering growth and supporting their journey towards meaningful change. By focusing on their individual goals and encouraging open communication, I strive to build a safe and supportive environment where clients can thrive and develop the skills they need to overcome challenges. My commitment to collaboration allows us to work together in partnership, making the therapeutic process both enjoyable and impactful.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to enter a collaborative space where they will be encouraged to explore various aspects of their lives, including their current symptoms and personal experiences. They will leave with additional questions to ponder, as I believe that all answers lie within the individual. It is the therapist's role to partner with the client to help them find, clarify, acknowledge, or accept their truth. Clients can also anticipate having an epiphany during this process, which can lead to deeper understanding and personal growth.
