Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jasmine! Taking the first step toward therapy requires immense courage, and I am here to ensure you don’t have to walk that path alone. I provide a warm, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are.

As a proud Afro-Latina, I understand how the intersections of identity, race, and culture shape our life experiences. My practice is deeply rooted in transparency, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care. A core focus of my clinical work is supporting survivors of trauma, and I proudly facilitate the Monarch Group for Black Female Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse—a specialized, empowering space designed to process the complex intersection of structural expectations, racism, sexism, and childhood trauma.

Whether you are joining our group therapy, navigating a major life transition, dealing with sexual issues, or trying to break free from cycles of anxiety and depression, we will work at a pace that feels entirely safe for you. You are the true expert on your own life, and my role is to provide the clinical tools and objective support to help you heal and thrive.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I dynamically tailor my clinical care for individuals, couples and groups to meet your unique needs by drawing from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help you identify, challenge, and reframe negative thought patterns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): To equip you with tangible skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring our work always prioritizes your emotional safety, pacing, and empowerment.
  • Culturally Affirming & Anti-Oppressive Frameworks: Validating how your unique identity, background, and systemic factors impact your mental well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about building safety, comfort, and connection. We will focus on a low-pressure assessment to discuss what brings you to therapy, look at your current symptoms, and explore your history. Most importantly, we will collaborate on your personal goals—defining what healing and relief look like for you. You will leave our first hour with a clear understanding of our roadmap forward and a few practical, baseline tools to help you feel grounded right away.
