Great to meet you!

About Me

Choosing someone to support your mental health is deeply personal, and I believe you deserve to know who you’re working with.

I’ve been in the medical and mental health field since 2012, with over 16 years of experience across home healthcare, emergency mental health services, inpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with both adults and children navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, adjustment challenges, and mood disorders. These experiences have shaped not only my clinical skills, but also the way I show up for the people I serve.

At the heart of my work is empathy. I know that opening up about your struggles can feel uncomfortable, vulnerable, or even intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and never judged. You won’t be rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis. You’ll be heard.

I view treatment as a partnership. We’ll work together to understand your story, identify what’s getting in the way, and build strategies that truly fit your life. Your input matters. Your goals matter. And your feedback helps guide the process.

While insight and emotional understanding are important, I also believe in practical tools. I want you to leave sessions with strategies you can actually use — coping skills, communication techniques, and mindset shifts that support real change in your day-to-day life.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments because I understand how busy and complex life can be. Flexibility matters.

My hope is that our work together feels supportive, productive, and empowering — and that you leave each session feeling a little more capable than when you arrived. Message me and I can open up an appointment that works for you.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Care

My approach to providing care is grounded in a few core principles that I believe truly strengthen the therapeutic process.

First and foremost, I prioritize creating a warm, welcoming space where you feel safe being yourself. You deserve a place where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I take time to listen carefully and genuinely work to understand your perspective — not just your symptoms, but your story.

I view therapy as a partnership. This is your journey, and your voice matters. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, challenges, and goals. I value your input in shaping our sessions and guiding the direction of your care. Collaboration is at the heart of meaningful progress.

While insight into your thoughts and emotions is incredibly important, I also focus on practical strategies. I believe in equipping you with tools and coping techniques that you can actually use in your everyday life. My goal is to help you walk away from sessions not only feeling heard but also feeling prepared — with actionable steps that support real, lasting change.

We’ll work together to find the right balance between understanding and action, reflection and forward movement — in a way that feels sustainable for you.

I also understand how full and demanding life can be. That’s why I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, with evening and weekend availability, so your care can fit more seamlessly into your routine.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Your First Session

In your first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you’ll feel safe to share your thoughts and experiences. We’ll spend time getting to know each other — exploring your background, what brought you to therapy, and the challenges you’re hoping to address.

I’ll listen carefully and without judgment, taking the time to understand your perspective and unique experiences. Together, we’ll discuss your goals for therapy and explore how I can best support you. This session is also your opportunity to ask any questions about the process, so you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.

My approach is collaborative — your input is essential in shaping the work we do together. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel at ease with the process, have a clearer understanding of what to expect, and begin building a foundation for a therapy plan tailored specifically to you. This session sets the stage for your journey toward growth, clarity, and positive change.
