Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized mental health care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My background in nursing has allowed me to care for individuals during some of the most vulnerable and challenging moments of their lives, shaping my belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe mental health treatment should never feel like something being done to you; it should be a partnership. I take time to understand your symptoms as well as the experiences, relationships, stressors, strengths, and goals that make you who you are.

When medication may be helpful, I provide thoughtful medication management while discussing potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and your preferences. I also incorporate supportive and therapeutic strategies when appropriate. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis, I look at the whole person and work with you to develop a realistic treatment plan that supports meaningful and sustainable improvement.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and develop a clear understanding of what brings you to care. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, relationships, stressors, strengths, and treatment goals.

You can expect a welcoming and judgment-free conversation where you have time to share your story and ask questions. Together, we will discuss my clinical impressions and possible treatment options and develop a plan that feels appropriate for your needs and goals. My priority is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
