Great to meet you!

I have been privileged to be a counselor for over twenty years, working with varied populations to address a wide range of concerns, and I remain passionate about the work. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how we may be able to work together to achieve your goals and resolve difficult concerns in life and therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to be collaborative and eclectic, working flexibly to find the best therapeutic approach for you and I to use together. I incorporate elements of DBT, CBT, ACT, Coherence therapy, and internal family systems. I incorporate humor often and have a particular interest in helping people address rigid negative core beliefs that keep them stuck, as well as challenges with finding meaning and purpose and working through grief and loss.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal early in therapy is to provide accurate empathy and validation as we work to clarify the issues you want to work on. I want our work to be driven by your experience and vision for how you want your life to change for the better.
