Great to meet you!

Jason Czernich is a person-centered, trauma-informed, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker(LICSW) with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health and human services field. Jason utilizes motivational interviewing techniques with adults and seniors to help them understand, manage, alleviate, and resolve symptoms of depression, anxiety, overspending, grief, suicidality, interpersonal conflict, existential crises, and other challenges they're facing in their lives.

My approach to therapy

Jason incorporates an array of evidence-based treatment modalities, including mindfulness-based, positive psychology, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, and guided imagery approaches. He also utilizes strengths-based methods such as joining and auspicious regard to build trust and positive rapport between himself and his clients.

What you can expect from me

Jason creates a relaxing, safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space for clients to discuss their emotional challenges and develop individualized treatment plans specific to their strengths. He believes patience, humor, authenticity, and listening are important aspects to a client's care.

He was the recipient of the 2018 DCF Commissioner’s Award for the Central Region, and the 2018 Commonwealth Performance Recognition Program-Citation for Outstanding Performance.
