Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing for a little over two years. Prior to my career in mental health, I worked in various leadership roles in advertising and marketing for 15 years. I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My primary treatment areas of focus are addiction, attachment-related issues, mood and personality disorders, and men's issues.

My approach to therapy

I have an integrative approach to therapy, using the best of various methods that meet your specific needs and personality. I'm trained in attachment theory, psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Emotion-focused individual and couples therapy, ACT, and CBT. I aim to provide a comfortable space for you to tell your story and for us to find new ways to engage in relationships (you, others, God) in the future.

What you can expect from me

Effective therapy is ultimately about durable psychological change. We'll spend our first few sessions making sure we have a mutual understanding of "what is the matter," so that our work has a clear focus. Meaningful change is difficult and takes time. My approach is as a guide and I will often challenge previous held assumptions and beliefs. Often, the thing you most need to find in healing is found in the place you least want to look.
