Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jason Lewis, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, children, and families navigate relationship challenges, emotional stress, and mental health concerns. I also have significant experience treating addictions, both individually, familial and in groups, and have served as a Hospice Chaplain. Outside of session, I'm a husband, father of five, grandfather of four, and pastor a small congregation in Middle Tennessee — where my family raises sheep, Rat Terriers, and miniature donkeys. I enjoy helping others and seeing lives changed and goals and objectives achieved.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in clinical training in Marriage and Family Therapy and over 15 years of working systemically — exploring how communication, emotional connection, and long-standing patterns shape what's happening within individuals and between partners and within families. Therapy is your space, and we work from your goals and your values, not mine — whether faith is part of your life or not. Whether you come in as an individual, a couple, or a family, my focus is on the relationships and roles that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

Generally, the first session is focused on getting to know one another and for me to gather information and to determine the bet approach to help you accomplish your goals and objectives. I work to establish a judgment free, warm, loving and accepting relationship where clients feel the freedom to be who they are and feel free to share concerns, ideas and ask questions. I work to help the client accomplish their goals and objectives and not mine. Occasionally I may introject a little humor as I feel that a cheerful heart is often great medicine. I want to learn about you and how I can best help.
