Great to meet you!

I’m a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a collaborative, honest, and supportive space—not another place where you feel judged or like you need to have it all figured out.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ concerns, and financial anxiety. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

I help people create more clarity, stronger boundaries, greater confidence in decision-making, and a deeper sense of alignment with their values and relationships.

I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients, helping people manage stress connected to work, money, and major life decisions, and supporting those navigating financial anxiety, career stress, and the emotional weight that can come with uncertainty around stability, identity, and change.

I also believe therapy should be a place where you can fully be yourself—including the parts of you that feel too anxious, too uncertain, too overwhelmed, or even too nerdy.

Outside of therapy, I’m a big fan of science fiction, Star Wars, comic books, and amateur astronomy. I love the perspective that comes from looking up at the night sky—it reminds us how human, connected, and resilient we really are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and self-compassion-based work. I also draw from mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches depending on what fits best for you.

I help clients understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck—whether that’s anxiety, avoidance, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or fear around uncertainty—and work toward building flexibility, confidence, and values-based action.

I’m not here to ‘fix’ you—I’m here to help you better understand yourself, respond to challenges with more flexibility, and build a life that feels more authentic, sustainable, and connected to what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and figure out what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’d like support with, and what you hope might feel different in your life.

You do not need to prepare the “perfect” explanation or have everything organized before showing up. My job is to help create space for clarity, not pressure.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current stressors, relationships, and goals for therapy, while also making sure you feel comfortable asking questions about how I work.

Most clients leave the first session feeling relieved, more understood, and with a clearer sense of where we’re going together.
