Great to meet you!

Therapy is most meaningful when giving others a space to be heard, valued, challenged, and accepted. I enjoy partnering with people who openly explore their own values and goals and how they connect to the life they desire. It is a brave endeavor to allow yourself to be known and vulnerable to another. I am privileged to help people navigate the barriers that prevent them from living the life they want and I feel that therapy is a space where they can "just be" without judgment or fear.

I have extensive experience working with people with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also explore LGBTQ+ topics and faith deconstruction. I have a strong background in DBT, CBT, ACT, and Strength-Based Therapy. Helping people lean into their strengths builds confidence and resilience through their struggles.

Therapy is often the work you invest in yourself outside of meeting with a therapist, but there is always a space where you can receive support and encouragement when we connect. I invite you to experience how therapy can aid you on your path

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel right even when it feels hard. My approach emphasizes a strong therapeutic alliance and utilizes evidence-based strategies and tools. In addition, we hold the core belief that habitual thoughts and behaviors must be honestly examined and thoughtfully challenged in order to transform into personal growth and lasting change.

Safety. Curiosity. Honesty. Compassion.

My therapeutic focus is specifically designed to walk a unique path with each client to meet the following goals:

  1. Encourage open and curious exploration of anxiety, depression, trauma and grief to understand what is occurring now and determine a starting point of personal growth. Our goal is to take meaning from the past while staying firmly rooted in the present.
  2. Question and redefine patterns of thought, behavior and cultural forces for greater awareness of current life status as well as future opportunities.
  3. Redesign a more authentic life through supported experimentation of new behaviors and ideas leading to higher levels of self-knowledge and acceptance, i.e. happiness.

What you can expect from me

I care about establishing an environment that is curious and open. Navigating life is a brave endeavor, and it's important to honor space with honesty, ownership, and intentionality.
