Great to meet you!

As a board certified couples and family therapist, I believe positively changing our relationship to our thoughts and feeling is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 12 years, helping clients struggling with anxiety and depression issues, as well as relationship, communication, and intimacy concerns.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative experience and my clients knowledge of themselves is central to the work we do together.

I practice a modality of therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. ACT focuses on increasing psychological flexibility through mindfulness and direct contact with our core values.

Through the use of humor, metaphor, and practical exercise I help clients gain insight into what matters to them, what shows up and gets in the way, and how to live a more values-oriented life.

What you can expect from me

Helping you meet your goals is my primary focus. Together, we will explore actions that feel authentic and true to your values which will support you in moving in the direction you want.

Creating an environment of warmth and trust is one of the best ways to encourage progress in therapy. You can expect our sessions to be conversational and semi-casual while also providing challenges and insight into your concerns.

I am always open to feedback and willing to adjust strategies to meet client needs.
