Great to meet you!

I am grateful for the opportunity to be possibility be working with you on your journey of working developing progressing and stability in your life.

I started my journey in helping people at a very young age, I was helping people as a young man and it was a driving force for me in supporting things with people moving forward.

I pursued education that supported my goals of helping people. I earned an graduate degree in St.Louis at Webster University in working on Marriage,Family and children counseling which has been a direct support in therapeutic approach because it allows for me to have varied approaches as working to engage with people in everything that is going on in life overall.

I started my journey working with youth who were troubled with a variety of ailments and challenges. I proceeded to work with older youth who were having challenges in their homes. I proceeded to manage working in homes with youth and young adults in their homes. I switched gears and began working with adults in the realm of addiction and substance abuse and started working with adults who plagued with opiate disorders and Medication assisted treatment. I worked my way along into a In-patient acute care stabilization unit for a local Hospital system.

I have seen a lot and experienced a lot and have a wide array of experiences an it has influenced my engagement with all my clients. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with and work with you in your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, which means I focus on helping you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected—and how to shift patterns that are getting in your way. At the same time, I help you connect with your why—your inner motivation for change—even when part of you might feel uncertain, stuck, or overwhelmed.

I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative and grounded in respect. You’re the expert on your life; I’m here to support your process, ask meaningful questions, and offer tools that fit your goals and values—not just a one-size-fits-all solution.

My work is practical and intentional, but also compassionate. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and we work at a pace that feels right for you. Whether we’re untangling anxious thoughts, exploring difficult emotions, or building new coping skills, my goal is always to help you feel more empowered, more clear, and more connected to yourself.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Therapy With Me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—and it is. But it’s also a powerful one. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for something to shift, my job is to help you move forward in a way that feels real and sustainable.

I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, which means we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions all connect—and more importantly, how to start shifting them in ways that support your goals.

We’ll work together—not with me telling you what to do, but with us figuring it out as a team.

You bring your experiences, your doubts, your hopes, and your honesty. I’ll bring curiosity, support, and tools that are grounded in what actually works. We’ll talk about the patterns that are showing up in your life, what might be holding you back, and what you want to do about it.

And if you’re not totally sure what you want yet? That’s okay, too. Motivation doesn’t have to be at 100% to start. Part of our work will be uncovering what matters most to you—and helping you build momentum, one step at a time.

What you can expect to take away:

  • A clearer understanding of your patterns and how to change them
  • Practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, or tough situations
  • A stronger connection to your values and inner motivation
  • Support that meets you where you are—and helps you move forward with intention

This is your space to grow, explore, and take back ownership of your story. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up—and we’ll take it from there.
