Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jason Zagaro and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in South Carolina working with clients statewide via telehealth. I was a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner for many years and have since been helping individuals navigate through life's challenges as a Professional Counselor. My passion for mental health stems from my own experiences and life's challenges, and a deep commitment to supporting people through transformative growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client that I work with. I set clear goals for myself and my clients depending on their needs. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Mindfulness Based Theory and Positive Psychology. I believe in a collaborative approach, working alongside my clients to help them gain deeper insights, build coping skills and work on the fear of adjustment and change.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, adhd, relationships, stress management and addiction. I also have experience with clients who are dealing with OCD symptoms. I enjoy working with adults, young adults, teens and couples. My experience includes helping clients process past trauma, manage stress, learn coping skills and build resilience. I am also well versed in nutrition, exercise and weight loss as it has been a passion of mine throughout my life.
