Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Javon Williams, and I’ve spent 17 years supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them build greater insight and self-awareness. I’ve worked with adults from diverse backgrounds, including military members and veterans, adult learners, and minority communities. I support clients navigating anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, and addictive disease. I believe change is possible for everyone, and I value meeting each person with respect for their experiences and goals.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative process. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Reality Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring our work to your needs and what matters to you. Together, we can explore patterns, strengthen self-understanding, and identify practical ways to move toward meaningful change. I’m committed to ongoing education so my work continues to reflect thoughtful, evidence-informed care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share what feels important, what you hope might change, and any questions you have about working together. We’ll start building a plan collaboratively, at a pace that feels comfortable to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet; we can begin wherever you are.
