Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Jay.

I like to keep a flexible approach with my clients since every individual case is unique. Exploring relationships and how to build healthy ones (especially the relationship with one’s self) is typically a top priority in our sessions. Also, identifying and developing your values will be an important aspect of our work together. I’m a generalist and enjoy working with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or relationship concerns. I'm confident we can find ways to create balance in your life and manage the ongoing stressors.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a person-centered approach combined with cognitive behavioral and acceptance commitment methods. Solution focused techniques are also commonly used to help explore and develop goals when needed.

What you can expect from me

The first few sessions are usually devoted to becoming aware your values. This will lead us to setting goals to develop them. Then we want to become aware of what is currently stopping you moving forward with your values. We will also consistently work on developing your ability to apply cognitive behavioral methods to the issues present.
