Great to meet you!

I want to help you learn about yourself and discover the why behind your current concerns. So that, when you are ready, you are able to heal and become your favorite version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I am a licensed practicing counselor who is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. I take a more holistic, eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy. I have experience with a variety of subjects/conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, marriage/divorce, parenting, miscarriage, parental loss, alternative relationship styles (polyamory, BDSM/kink), LGBTQ+ concerns, and trauma processing. I have provided therapy to individuals in addiction, with chronic medical conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder, medical trauma, and religious trauma.

I prefer to have my clients involved in their treatment process and help make decisions regarding any skills/techniques they have interest in learning. I am a firm believer in, "You get out of life what you put into it." Mental health treatment is no exception.

What you can expect from me

A typical session with me usually starts with an update since the last session. From this point the client will lead the session while I take a more guiding role. I have found that the usual take-aways from a typical session will include feeling listened to, accepted, and encouraged. You may also learn new coping skills, strengths, and values.
