Great to meet you!

Sure, I have all the required degrees, certifications, training, and supervision that one needs to be a licensed professional counselor. But, more importantly, I have lived a life full of different experiences, relating to all kinds of people in all kinds of places. I am confident and humble, curious and knowledgeable, and I am forever learning, loving, and laughing (I cry sometimes, too). I feel a deep sense of honor and gratitude for every person that has ever let me be a part of their life.

My approach to therapy

It starts with building a solid relationship where we both can be ourselves, honest, open, and even compassionately confrontational when necessary. We will create an individualized experience blending a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions including CBT, EMDR, IFS, ACT, experiential, art, or music interventions to name a few. My goal is to help you build awareness, gain greater insight and understanding, and then take tangible action steps.

What you can expect from me

My clients tend to leave sessions feeling empowered, enlightened, and engaged with their lives. Most of the time my clients will leave with some type of "homework" to complete or ponder during the week as research shows that 40% of change occurs outside of sessions. And, almost always my clients leave feeling heard, understood, and deeply respected.
