Great to meet you!

I'm a compassionate and dedicated, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I completed my doctoral studies and training at The University of Texas, where I was a distinguished honors graduate. With a deep commitment to my patient’s well-being, I have gained extensive experience through my clinical work at world-renowned institutions such as Dunn Behavioral Science Institute, where I trained in providing psychiatric care for pediatric and adolescent patients.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about working with children and young adults. My focus lies in specializing in ADHD, depression, and anxiety, where I strive to address the unique mental health needs of my clients. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help my clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, equipping them with coping strategies and practical skills to manage their conditions. Additionally, I utilize motivational therapy to foster a collaborative environment that empowers my clients to take an active role in their treatment.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is to foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes my patients' emotional well-being and personal growth. I aim to help my patients achieve improved mental health outcomes, including increased emotional regulation, enhanced coping skills, and better academic and social functioning.

Setting specific goals with patients includes developing individualized treatment plans that focus on their unique challenges and strengths. Outcomes may range from reduced symptoms and improved mood to greater self-awareness and motivation for change. Ultimately, my practice is designed to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and valued.
