Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jay Souza-Erlandson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering virtual therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced betrayal trauma, including those in the LGBTQ+ community who have faced rejection or violence during their coming-out process, as well as military service members and veterans coping with trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and mindfulness. I also incorporate Radical Acceptance and trauma-informed care to support healing and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is a collaborative space where we’ll work together to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, grieving a loss, or managing complex trauma, I’m here to support you with care, clarity, and respect.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
