Great to meet you!

I’m a psychodynamic therapist whose practice includes people who identify as LGBTQIA+. I consider myself a general practitioner with a specialty informed by my own life experience. I'd say that being gay has given me insights specific to helping my LGBTQIA+ patients, while also equipping me to address issues of sexuality and gender with each of my patients whenever they arise. Working psychodynamically, I've helped patients with a wide range of problems, such as anxiety; depression; issues of identity or self-esteem; difficulties with relationships; dissatisfaction at work; a sense of being unfulfilled, stuck or lost in life.

My approach to therapy

My goals are not only to help you come to terms with current challenges but also to help you understand their deeper roots—often tied to past experiences and internal conflicts. Through thoughtful and compassionate exploration, we can work together to uncover patterns and gain insight that leads to lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is time dedicated to focusing wholly on you—your thoughts, feelings and unique history. My approach is empathic and nonjudgmental, and I aim to meet you where you are. When we understand our inner world, we can begin to live with greater freedom, clarity and purpose.
