Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience across various settings. My expertise lies in providing psychodynamic psychotherapy within a multicultural context. I specialize in working with women from multicultural backgrounds, addressing life transitions, work-life balance, career, relationships, and parenting. Additionally, I have extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, and grief/loss.

My approach to therapy

I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy in a multicultural context. I provide a compassionately insightful and culturally-sensitive space that allows you to attune to your inner wisdom, leading to contentment in personal and professional pursuits. Psychodynamic orientation is based on an insight-oriented approach of becoming aware of unconscious patterns rooted in our past that significantly impact current functioning in relationships, work, and recreation.

What you can expect from me

Feeling of empowerment and deeper understanding of oneself (including insight about longstanding maladaptive patterns that affect current relationships and life); deeper understanding of how dysfunctional family dynamics impact self; and how to break from the maladaptive patterns. This positively impacts relationships and work life.
