I am a music therapist and licensed clinical social worker in Colorado. My primary experience is in emergency psychiatric care and detox/short-term rehab settings. I specialize in working with those who have unique needs specific to the LGBTQ+ population and those working through elements of self-exploration. I am also experienced and comfortable working with individuals who need support in maintaining a sober lifestyle.
I believe it to be important to meet someone where they are in the moment. My job is to walk beside you as you process through different parts of your life that may feel overwhelming. Whether you are immediately ready for change or wanting to explore options, I will go at your speed and offer nudges when appropriate.
I like to create an atmosphere of openness and non-judgement. In sessions with me, you should be able to be your authentic self and share your thoughts openly. You can share hard questions you are trying to answer and share things that are weighing heavy on your shoulders that you cannot always share with others.
