Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, better understand themselves, and find a path toward healing and growth. I recognize that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable showing up just as you are.

My experience includes working with individuals across various age groups who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family concerns, substance use, and relationship and attachment difficulties. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Above all, I want you to know that you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. I look forward to meeting you where you are and supporting you as you work toward greater self-understanding, healing, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on you as a whole person. I believe therapy is a journey that allows you to explore your experiences, understand your thoughts and behaviors, and identify the needs and patterns that may be affecting your well-being. Together, we will work to better understand your challenges, recognize your strengths, and develop realistic goals that align with what matters most to you.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Choice Theory, tailoring our work to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I understand that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I honor that each person's journey looks different. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to grow, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, and you do not need to have everything figured out before our first session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported from the very beginning. During our first meeting, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, explore the concerns or challenges you are experiencing, and discuss what you hope to gain from therapy.

This is also an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting relationship and for you to get a sense of what working together might feel like. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no expectation that you have all the answers. Together, we will begin identifying your needs, exploring your strengths, and establishing goals for our work. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and encouraged as you take this important step toward your well-being.
