Jaylen Payne PMHNP, DNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care across the lifespan. He provides thorough psychiatric evaluations, DSM-5-TR–based diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy-informed treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Dr. Payne earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he received advanced training in psychiatric assessment, clinical decision-making, and systems-level mental health care. His background in high-acuity medical and behavioral health settings strengthens his structured, safety-focused, and clinically precise approach to treatment.

His clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, and complex mood presentations. He integrates principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into his practice to support emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and practical skill-building alongside thoughtful medication management.
