Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Dr. Jaylynne Likely, but you can call me Jay for short. I understand that life doesn't slow down just because you're carrying a lot. The truth is, even the strong need a space to exhale.

I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to show up as your authentic self, without judgment or the pressure to have it all figured out. My approach is direct, honest, and grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we'll identify your strengths, challenge the thoughts and patterns that no longer serve you, and create practical strategies that move you forward.

I have experience working with adolescents, military service members and veterans, older adults, and professionals navigating life transitions, workplace stress and trauma. I also specialize in helping clients recognize, process, and respond to microaggressions with confidence, self-advocacy, and practical strategies that create lasting change.

If you're looking for a therapist who will listen with empathy, challenge you with honesty, keep it real, and hold you accountable while cheering you on every step of the way... I'm her.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I value creating a space where psychological safety, accountability, and joy can exist together. I understand real life. Sometimes you're healing while raising children, building a career, caring for loved ones, navigating relationships, or simply trying to make it through the week. Therapy should make room for all of that. We'll do the work, celebrate your wins, laugh when it's needed, and keep moving toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is more than an introduction. This is the beginning of a space where your story matters. From the moment we meet, my priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and valued without judgment. You don't have to have the "right words" or have everything figured out. My role is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you can show up as your authentic self, explore what brought you here, and begin building a path toward the life you want. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels safe, intentional, and centered on your goals because your healing journey deserves a strong and compassionate start.
