Great to meet you!

Jayme Chambers is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor that graduated from the University of South Florida and has been practicing for over 8 years. Her main focus is teens and young adults. She also enjoys working with children, ages 8 and up, individuals, couples and families. She specializes in helping clients who experience issues with: Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem, Behavioral concerns, Relationships, Family concerns, Life Transitions, Trauma, and Personal Growth.

My approach to therapy

Jayme implements various therapeutic techniques to help meet each clients individual needs, some include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Positive Psychology. She enjoys providing a warm and comfortable environment in session to help her clients feel safe. She is open, kind and genuine which helps build strong rapport with her clients.

What you can expect from me

At the initial session, we address what is bringing you to therapy and what you are looking to achieve with therapy. Once goals are established, we work together in either weekly or biweekly sessions to address your stressors. After some time, if you feel that you are managing fairly well, sessions will go to monthly and eventually as needed. Therapy is different for each client and therefore the process will differ from person to person.
