Great to meet you!

I have an extensive background in serving the needs of culturally, racially, and developmentally diverse backgrounds. I also supervise clinicians seeking full licensure. I’m happy that you’ve taken the first step by reading this profile. Take that next step and allow me to help you heal, and restore balance in your life.

My approach to therapy

For me, being a counselor is about being able to walk alongside others throughout their journey, to help restore themselves to a place of healing and peace. Throughout my own struggles in life, it was my strong connections and relationships that gave me hope to feel like myself again.

What you can expect from me

I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as in Trauma. Sometimes our thoughts can kick us when we’re already down. I will work with you on identifying those thoughts, to help develop a more helpful way of thinking. I also use mindfulness techniques to practice being in the present moment, so you can learn to better manage your emotions. These are just some of the many tools I can give you to help restore balance in your life
