Great to meet you!

Welcome, I’m Jaymere, founder and therapist at Rooted & Rising Therapy, LLC.

I created Rooted & Rising Therapy with a deep passion for helping individuals find healing, reconnect with themselves, and recognize the strength that has carried them through life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a powerful space for reflection, growth, and transformation — a place where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

As a Black woman therapist, I understand the importance of having a therapeutic space where your experiences are honored and where you do not have to explain the fullness of who you are to be supported. My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, cultural humility, and the belief that every person deserves care that recognizes their story, values, and lived experiences.

What you can expect from me

The name Rooted & Rising reflects my belief that our roots — our experiences, relationships, culture, and resilience — are a meaningful part of our journey. When we understand and nurture those roots, we create space to grow, heal, and rise.
