Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed clinician with deep roots in the New River Valley. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Radford University, where I built a strong foundation in counseling theory, mental-health assessment, and client-centered care. I am currently pursuing my doctorate through Liberty University, expanding my research and clinical focus in the areas of complex trauma, attachment injuries, and nervous-system regulation.

My practice specializes in helping individuals heal from chronic stress, childhood trauma, relational wounds, and patterns shaped by long-term emotional overwhelm. I integrate evidence-based, somatic, and attachment-focused approaches to provide clients with practical tools and a safe, compassionate space to rebuild trust in themselves and their relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to trauma therapy is grounded in parts-work and clear, compassionate communication. I help clients identify the protective and wounded “parts” of themselves that formed in response to trauma, and together we work to understand their role, needs, and unmet emotions. By creating space for these internal experiences and communicating with them directly, clients gain insight, reduce reactivity, and begin healing long-held patterns.

This integrative, trauma-informed approach supports nervous-system regulation, increases self-trust, and helps clients move from survival mode into grounded, empowered living. I specialize in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, attachment wounds, and trauma-related symptoms such as anxiety, hypervigilance, and emotional overwhelm.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused, fast-paced, and deeply collaborative. We dive directly into the concerns bringing you to therapy, explore the patterns or symptoms impacting your daily life, and clarify what you feel needs the most attention. I guide you through an in-depth discussion that helps identify root issues quickly, set clear priorities, and establish a direction for our work together.
