Great to meet you!

My passion for helping others is what first drew me to psychotherapy. Along the way, I’ve worked in both community non-profits and private group practices, experiences that shaped me into a compassionate, flexible, and grounded clinician. I’ve been fortunate to work with people facing a wide range of challenges, which has taught me how unique each person’s journey is. I love helping clients feel understood and supported, and I strive to create a space that’s warm, judgment-free, and collaborative where you can explore, grow, and feel empowered to make meaningful change in your life.

My approach to therapy

Because I genuinely love what I do, I fully invest in the people I work with. In our sessions, you’ll find a therapeutic relationship rooted in openness, authenticity, and compassion. Our collaboration is honest and direct, yet always empathetic and warm. I support clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive thoughts and behaviors, depression and self-esteem challenges, relationship conflicts, communication breakdowns, and life transitions. After each session, I provide an optional summary with key reminders and reflective questions to help you integrate insights, track progress, and continue growth outside of our time together.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and nerve-wracking, and that's completely normal. During our first session, my goal is to create a space where you can simply show up as you are, without pressure, judgment, or expectations to have everything figured out.

We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope life might look like if things felt a little easier. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and history, but you're always in control of what you choose to share and at what pace.

Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for us to determine whether we're a good fit. Therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and supported. You can expect a warm, collaborative approach where we'll begin identifying meaningful goals and creating a path forward together.

You don't need to prepare anything special, just bring yourself. We'll take it one step at a time.
