Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jean Berry, a dedicated therapist providing individual mental health and substance abuse therapeutic services from a person-centered approach. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change.

I have a background in substance abuse counseling and mental health therapy, with experience in helping individuals navigate addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is empathetic, collaborative, and solution-focused, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs.

I believe that healing is a journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. I'd be honored to work with you if you're ready to take the next step.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy, meaning I meet clients where they are with empathy, respect, and nonjudgmental support. I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to guide and empower clients as they navigate their journey.

I specialize in mental health and substance abuse therapy, working with individuals struggling with emotional regulation, addiction, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am collaborative and goal-oriented, incorporating evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s needs. Whether we focus on coping strategies, self-exploration, or behavioral changes, I prioritize creating a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and motivated to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where they feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I aim to help individuals gain self-awareness, coping skills, and confidence in navigating life’s difficulties.

Through our sessions, clients will:

  • Develop practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and addiction recovery.
  • Gain insight into patterns and behaviors that may be holding them back.
  • Build healthy coping mechanisms to support long-term well-being.
  • Feel empowered and motivated to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Ultimately, I aim for clients to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped to take positive steps toward personal growth.
