Great to meet you!

I began my career as a bed-side nurse in 2006. In 2020 I decided to return to school and become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I trained with a well known Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in South Florida and learned to manage mental disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia among others. In 2023 I graduated from Nova Southeastern University. My main focus is medication management and initial psychiatric evaluations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach care in a collaborative way. I believe by working together we can find the best treatment options and what is the best course of action towards optimizing your mental health.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect ongoing education on psychotropic medications. Routine monitoring of a continued need for psychotropic medications and possible adverse side effects. I will clarify and help you understand the disease process, symptoms and medication management. All decisions will be made as a collaborative effort between us.
