Great to meet you!

I have seen a lot in my life (Lived in 4 countries on 3 continents, speak 3 languages fluently, have had 2 very different careers with higher educations degrees, have 3 children ages 45, 27, and 25, extremely accomplished in endurance events with 13 marathons and 2 ironmans). This gives me a special ability to see the bigger picture and to guide you through the complex labyrinth of life.

My approach to therapy

I am an Eclectic psychologist, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. I believe that the most part of our daily feelings and emotional states are driven by our thoughts, conscious and unconscious, our assumptions and our projections, mostly unconscious. As Freud said, "Therapy consists of bringing the unconscious to consciousness", and then you can make an informed choice, often difficult, that will impact the rest of your life.

What you can expect from me

I am what you call a straight shooter, easy to relate to. I will understand you, sometimes better than you understand yourself (see above). I will challenge you in your beliefs and habits, to find out those that work for you from those that don't, and I will support you in the difficult task of changing those habits. I use humor often!
