Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jean-Jeffrey Marcellus, DNP, PMHNP-BC, AGNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of healthcare experience. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and substance use disorders.

I specialize in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for alcohol, opioid, benzodiazepine, kratom, and prescription medication dependence. My approach is collaborative and personalized, focusing on creating treatment plans that support each individual's goals, recovery, and overall well-being.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments, providing a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I am committed to delivering culturally responsive care and making high-quality mental health services accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. I believe that every individual deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with respect. I take the time to listen carefully to your concerns and work with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

I provide evidence-based, holistic care that considers the connection between your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Whether you're seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, or substance use, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and actively participating in your care.

My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship and empower you with the tools and support needed to achieve lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we'll take time to get to know one another. I'll ask about your medical and mental health history, current symptoms, life experiences, and what brings you to treatment. Most importantly, I want to understand your goals and what you hope to achieve.

Our first visit is a safe, supportive, and judgment-free conversation where you can share your concerns at your own pace. Together, we'll discuss your symptoms, explore treatment options, and develop a personalized plan that fits your needs. My goal is to ensure you leave the session feeling heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care.
