Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting adults through life challenges. I have worked in private practice, and a variety of clinical and community based programs with individuals, families and couples. My present focus is working with individual adults in private practice, where I offer a supportive and collaborative space for growth and healing. I have compassion for client's who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship issues. If you are seeking support to better understand yourself, improve relationships and work toward meaningful and lasting changes, I would be honored to help you.

My approach to therapy

I draw from approaches such as cognitive-based strategies, mindfulness practices, and relationship-focused work to support your growth. I am skilled in helping clients build positive coping skills, stengthen emotional awareness, and improve communication. I focus on what is already working in your life while also helping you develop healthier ways to manage stress, navigate conflict and build stronger personal and social connections. My role is to support, teach, encourage and guide you as you gain insight, set attainable goals and move toward positive change.

What you can expect from me

During or first session, I will focus on helping you feel at ease and getting to know one another. I will take time to understand what brings you to therapy and challenges you are currently facing. Together, we will begin your goals and discuss a counseling plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with what you want to achieve. This session is a starting point for building a trusting and productive therapeutic relationship.
