Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and finding the right fit matters. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, OCD, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and questions about identity. I have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, including transgender and gender-diverse individuals.

My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest about what is and isn't working in their lives, while also being challenged to move toward what matters most to them. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to help you live more fully and authentically.

My approach to therapy

Therapy isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's about understanding the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be getting in the way of the life you want to live. My style is warm, engaged, and direct. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest about their struggles while also feeling supported in making meaningful changes.

I integrate ACT, CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and relational approaches, adapting treatment to each person's needs. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and questions related to identity and self-esteem. Together, we'll work to increase self-understanding, develop practical tools, strengthen self-compassion, and move toward what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we're a good fit. I'll spend time learning about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once; we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can be honest about your experiences and feel understood. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and challenges, and we'll discuss goals for therapy that are meaningful to you. Many clients leave the first session with a better understanding of where they'd like to focus their work and a sense of what our ongoing therapy process might look like.
