Great to meet you!

Jeanee is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience in the field since 2012. She graduated with Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Rochelle. Practicing as a Substance abuse counselor, Behavior Technician and a psychotherapist for a private practice. She has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, anxiety, adjustment disorders, trauma, addiction as well as grief and loss amongst others.

My approach to therapy

Jeanee primarily uses person centered therapy and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) while pulling from, psychodynamic, narrative, solution focused and motivational interviewing modalities where appropriate, to create an experience unique to your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Jeanee believes there are similarities in the hats we wear and the circumstances we face but we do not all fit the same mold. There is a commonality that we share and that is the goal of change. As a supportive, empathetic yet challenging advocate who creates a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment; Jeanee believes it is possible to explore the uncomfortable and find solace in the change you seek. Team work makes the dream work.
