Great to meet you!
I’m Jeanetta Price, a Licensed Professional Counselor, author, advocate, and motivational storyteller who believes healing begins when people feel safe enough to tell the truth about what they have experienced.
My professional background includes school based mental health services, crisis intervention, private practice, advocacy, and supporting individuals through difficult life transitions. I am especially passionate about helping clients navigate grief, trauma, self esteem, depression, anxiety, major life changes, disability related challenges, and finding their voice after experiences that may have left them feeling unseen or unheard.
As a Blind Black woman, I also bring lived experience, resilience, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding that life can change unexpectedly. My approach is compassionate, honest, empowering, and person centered. I believe you are more than what happened to you, and therapy can be a place where you learn to understand your story without allowing your story to control your future.
I often say, “It took for me to lose sight to gain vision.” My goal as your therapist is not to tell you what your vision should be, but to help you discover it for yourself.
Healing does not mean pretending the hard parts never happened. It means learning how to move forward with greater understanding, confidence, and hope.
