Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and extensive supervised clinical experience in community mental health and private practice settings. I work with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, affirming, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore patterns that may be impacting their emotional well-being and relationships. I take a trauma-informed and relational lens, helping clients understand how past experiences shape present thoughts, behaviors, and connection with others.

In addition to insight-oriented work, I incorporate practical, solution-focused strategies to help clients manage stress, improve communication, and build healthier coping tools. I serve adults from diverse backgrounds, including veterans and individuals adjusting to significant life changes.

I believe therapy should feel both compassionate and purposeful — a place for reflection, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. I believe many present-day struggles are shaped by past experiences, relationship patterns, and stressors that deserve thoughtful exploration and understanding. Together, we work to increase insight, strengthen coping strategies, and build healthier ways of responding to challenges.

I integrate evidence-based practices with practical, solution-oriented tools to support both immediate relief and long-term growth. Therapy with me is both supportive and purposeful — a space for reflection, skill-building, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space for us to begin building connection and understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, any important background information, and what you hope will feel different in your life as a result of our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while also helping you gain clarity and direction. By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer sense of your goals and a collaborative plan for how we’ll begin moving forward.
