Great to meet you!

Feeling stuck, uncertain, or emotionally worn down does not mean something is wrong with you—it often means you have been carrying a lot on your own. I work with young adults, women, and adults in different stages of life who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity questions, relationship challenges, career changes, and personal growth. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of what they want next. I bring a background in higher education, where I spent nearly a decade supporting students as an administrator and professor, and that experience continues to shape my passion for helping people find clarity, confidence, and direction. Clients often describe me as warm, honest, and easy to talk to, and I care deeply about creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you feel deeply understood. I blend practical tools with deeper reflection so you can not only cope in the moment, but also better understand what is driving your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, stress, burnout, self-doubt, relationship issues, and major life transitions. Together, we build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change that feels realistic and aligned with who you are. I value authenticity and encourage you to explore what truly matters to you, because therapy is not just about symptom relief—it is about building a life that feels more steady, connected, and true to yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you do not have to have everything figured out. We will talk about what brings you in, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope to get out of therapy - whether that includes anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity exploration, or simply feeling stuck. I will ask some gentle questions to understand your background, what matters most to you, and what support would feel helpful right now. There is no pressure to share everything all at once; we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying goals and next steps that feel supportive, realistic, and centered on what you need most.
