I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2025 after over 10 years as a psychiatric nurse at inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. I have been working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at an inpatient facility this year (2026). I have worked with severely mentally ill, substance abuse, depression and anxiety patients.

I approach my patients like they are individuals and with respect.

I will assess their current mental status and if they are currently taking prescribed medications and if the medications are working for them.
