Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker, currently working as a school-based clinician in an elementary school setting. I received my Master's of Social Work at Adelphi University. I attribute my extensive history of working closely with children, adolescents, and families as my basis for my current therapeutic focus. From working as a home visitor in an early childhood program, to providing therapy in a high-school setting, my prior experiences have informed my work on the individual and family level. My intention is to provide a supportive, safe and collaborative environment in which adolescents, adults and emerging adults may find connection, healing and growth towards a more enhanced understanding of themselves and their experiences.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach embodies a very person-centered and strengths-focused quality. Through upholding an environment of patience, strength in vulnerability and unconditional acceptance, I aim to "meet individuals where they are at", so to speak, and cultivate rapport through appreciation for one's interests and successes, large and small.

What you can expect from me

Upon initial meeting, it is my priority to establish a mutual connection that implies safety, understanding and the foundation for growth. Creating a safe space and mutual understanding of the purpose of therapy, therapeutic roles, as well as desired outcome(s) are my intentions for our first collaborative steps taken together.
