Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Jeanne Fazekas, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, clarity and resilience.

My professional background includes working in both mental health and educational settings, which has given me extensive experience supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, family conflict, self-esteem challenges, and emotional wellness. I also have a special interest in helping individuals adjust to divorce, co-parenting relationships, and significant life changes.

I believe therapy should be safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Whether you're facing a difficult season of life or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you develop practical tools and strategies to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I strive to create a comfortable environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns while feeling supported throughout the therapeutic process.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and person-centered techniques. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, build on your existing strengths, and develop realistic strategies to help you reach your goals.

I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and change. My role is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful progress in the areas of life that matter most to you.

Special Interest Areas: I enjoy working with clients dealing with divorce, co-parenting, relationship transitions, women's issues, anxiety and have a lot of experience working with teens.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where you feel heard and supported. During our first session, well spend time getting to know each other, discussing the concerns that brought you to therapy and exploring what you hope to gain from the process.

Together, we'll identify your goals and begin to develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to your life. You don't need to have everything figured out prior to coming to therapy.

Most clients leave the first sessions feeling relieved to have a plan and a safe space to begin working toward positive change.
