Great to meet you!

Greetings, you made it!

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

My name is Jeannette and I have 15+ years of experience specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I started in community mental health and social services, and I provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to work together. We’ll start where you are, build on your strengths, and find ways to help you move toward greater healing, balance, and well-being. You’re here. That’s a start. Let’s take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and centered on you and your unique story. I meet you where you are, listen with compassion and without judgment, and work with you to understand your experiences, recognize your strengths, and find tools that support the changes you want to make. I also enjoy using analogies to help make complex emotions and life experiences easier to understand and explore. I value the role that culture, family, identity, and life experiences play in shaping who we are. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and know that your story matters.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace, ask questions, and simply be yourself. Together, we’ll begin to understand what you’re experiencing, what you hope to work on, and what support may feel most helpful for you. My commitment is to walk beside you with steadiness and empathy as you move toward healing, resilience, and a more empowered version of yourself.
