Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD

Great to meet you!

I'm a doctorally-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with over 30 years of experience in mental health, primarily in inpatient and telehealth settings. I currently offer care on a limited basis to adults and adolescents in Georgia and Arizona, with a focus on medication management and supportive guidance.

My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, ADHD (using non-stimulant options), and mood disorders. My approach is flexible, compassionate, and grounded in experience — whether you're exploring medication for the first time or reviewing an existing plan.

Appointments are offered as availability allows. When clinically appropriate, prescriptions may be sent to your preferred pharmacy, and documentation can be provided when necessary.

This space is for thoughtful, practical care — shaped to fit real lives and current needs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is patient-centered, solution-focused, and grounded in over 30 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. I understand that mental health care is personal, and I aim to create a respectful, collaborative space where people feel heard and supported.

I focus on thoughtful medication management, incorporating practical strategies that support emotional wellness, stress, sleep, and quality of life. When appropriate, treatment plans may also include lifestyle guidance.

I treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood-related concerns. At this time, I offer virtual psychiatric support for adults and adolescents in Georgia and Arizona on a limited basis.

If you're seeking care that’s experienced, balanced, and realistic, I’d be honored to work with you.

What you can expect from our first session

When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate, solution-focused approach grounded in over 30 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. Each session is designed to be personalized, respectful, and focused on identifying what works best for your current needs.

I create a judgment-free space where you can speak openly, and I tailor treatment to your goals. We’ll explore medication options and supportive strategies that align with your values and lifestyle.

If mental health is affecting your work, school, or functioning, documentation can be provided when clinically appropriate. My goal is to help you build a care plan that’s realistic, sustainable, and right for you.
