Great to meet you!

Welcome! Thank you for choosing to make a positive impact in your life. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor with over six years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. He received his Master of Science in Clinical Health and School Counseling from Texas Woman's University. He is also a certified teacher in the state of Texas with 12 years of experience teaching middle school students.

Therapy is a collaborative journey where clients can gain new insights, develop coping strategies, and ultimately make lasting, positive changes in their lives. He is passionate about helping individuals tap into their inner strengths and build resilience, and he strives to empower his clients in every session.

He has been married for 17 years to his wife and has two sons. He enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, listening to music, and spending time with family. He is a proud veteran with 8 years of service in the United States Marine Corps.

My approach to therapy

Jeff believes all people are born with the innate ability and desire to lead fulfilling lives with satisfying relationships. People are greater than their problems and are capable of change. Using Person-Centered Therapy, Jeff is confident that he can help discover the irrational or negative thoughts that cause bad feelings and behaviors. This is important in order to change the perception of a situation even if it remains the same.

The social and emotional needs of the client are Jeff’s number one priority. He looks forward to working with children starting at age 13, young adults, and adults.

What you can expect from me

If you’re seeking a supportive and compassionate therapist who will listen without judgment, he would be honored to work with you in your journey toward healing and growth.
